AS ATC CELEBRATES ITS MILESTONE ANNIVERSARY, MANAGING DIRECTOR, CIARAN O’REILLY REFLECTS ON THE LAST THREE DECADES... ATC: blazing a trail for 30years

W hen ATC first opened its doors for business in January 1991, at Adelaide Road, central Dublin we had no idea it would develop into the market- leading company it is today. The original management team - Mary Curley, Liam Prendergast, Brian Walsh – helped me steer the business from strength-to-strength, from those early years right up until the present day. We worked hard as a team to expand and develop the product ranges while at the same time growing our customer base throughout Ireland. Launching a new business is never straightforward and ours wasn’t without its challenges, but we knew we were onto something special and chased every opportunity. Exceptional customer care and quality products were the priority then as they remain now. Every new customer or order was greeted with great excitement and we soon realised we’d be expanding our team sooner than anticipated. We have two divisions within the group: ATC Electrical & Mechanical - who are renowned for their innovative and energy-efficient heating and hygiene products (several of them award-winning) and ATC Automation which specialise in machine controls, vision hygiene inspection systems and focusing on enabling companies to improve productivity within manufacturing. From the very beginning and right through to today we’ve always believed that our core values of Quality, Customer Care and Service are the cornerstone of our longevity and success. Expansion and growth Over the years, as ATC continued to grow we had to move premises on three separate occasions. This allowed us the
