Road to Recovery : Malaysia Smart Cities Outlook - Review Current, Envision Tomorrow 29 June 2021 | Online MIGHT in partnership with Confexhub initiated the Malaysia Smart City Outlook 2021 – 2022 to encapsulate Malaysia’s smart city achievements thus far in the seven components – economy, government, community, digital infrastructure, mobility, environment and living. Correspondingly, it identifies gaps & recommendations by comparing local achievements against global practice and realistic practical approaches to accelerate smart city development in Malaysia. Thought leaders deliberated on gaps identified and recommendations from the Malaysia Smart City Outlook 2021-2022 and shared their thoughts and insights in accelerating smart city development in Malaysia.

The Expert Insight @ Live Virtual Forum : Translating Concept To Bankable Projects - An Up-close With Smart Cities Enablers 22 July 2021 | Online MIGHT led a forum with key smart city enablers from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Bank Pembangunan, IRDA and Oracle Malaysia, providing insights and necessary funda- mentals on translating strategic concept into bankable projects. The session provided audiences from both the public and private sectors good understanding on the principals and enabling factors of smart city projects from the point of view of policy makers, project executor, technology providers and financiers the path towards immense new develop- ment and investment opportunities. The virtual forum was attended by over 150 smart city stake- holders.
