Enhancing the National Service Training Programme (PLKN) MIGHT lends it expertise to the Ministry of Defense in the preparation of the PLKN Implementation Action Plan in view of the government's intent to reimplement the programme. In July 2021 The Ministry of Defence appointed MIGHT as consultant to develop the concept and action plans for the implementation of a revitalised PLKN programme.

Several physical and on-line workshops, as well as targeted discussions with various parties were held since April 2021. Over 12 departments participated in these sessions including the Ministry of Defense (MINDEF), Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Ministry of Home Aairs (KDN), Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (KKMM), Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM), Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB), Ministry of Human Resources (KSM) , Ministry of Finance (MOF), Public Service Department (JPA), National Registration Department (JPN), National Security Council (MKN) and Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU). The series of discussions sought consensus and feedback on various aspects of PLKN’s feasibility from the perspectives of concept, issues and challenges, training modules, volunteer programmes, training centres, budgets and opportunities for cooperation between ministries and agencies. These study which was undertaken over a six-month period produced a new concept for PLKN implementation which will prove eective and exciting.

The eighth installation of the long-running Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair (KLESF) was held with the aim of promoting interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among primary and secondary school students. The event was held online with strong support by the KLESF partners comprising Malaysian Industry - Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technolo- gy (AAET), The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), with Petrosains, UniKL MSI and STEM4ALL as co-organisers.
