Chief Circle’s Talk (CCT) Forum

The Chief Circle’s Talk Forum for National Defence and Security Industry Policy (NDSIP) was held for the purpose of gathering input from former Chiefs of the various arms of the defence forces. The one-o gathering of the esteemed grouping was chaired by Jen. Tan Sri Dato’ Hj A endi bin Buang, the Chief of Defence Force (PAT) with an objective of discussing the implementation of NDSIP, from the view of all former Chiefs . MIGHT was led by its President and CEO, Datuk Dr. Mohd Yuso Sulaiman. The participants shared many comments and suggestions including the call for the implementation and execution to focus more on elements of the environment, governance and social. They also called for the impact of privatisation on the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) to be analysed in terms of skills, knowledge and experience. There is also a need to maintain and develop human capital through better working relationship and synergy between the industry and the training institutions. The comments and suggestions were incorporated into the NDSIP’s strategies and action plans taking into consideration multiple stakeholders’ views and the external factors involved.
