DREAMS PURSUED THROUGH CHALLENGING TIMES CAN BECOME A REALITY, NO MATTER THE OBSTACLES.
A colleague introduced me to the INUKA Business Opportunity in July 2018. At that stage, I had a lot of debt. My main aspiration was to be able to afford and pay off my mother’s monthly furniture installment of R500. Little did I know that I would even be able to buy myself a brand-new car, enroll my child in a better school and do some home renovations. It is easy to sell and introduce INUKA Products to people because of the quality and great results of our products. I pushed through and never turned back. HOW DID YOU PLAN ON GROWING YOUR BUSINESS TO DIAMOND STATUS? When I was still an Emerald Leader in January 2020, I wrote down a plan of action to be a Sapphire Leader by the end of 2020. I attended an INUKA Sales Quarter Event in Pretoria in January 2020 and left this event inspired and motivated. I came back from the event and put more effort into my business and into my team. In a record time, I reached Sapphire in the same January sales month. I strived even harder with my Team Pushy and Team Mama-INUKA, which is my downlines team. To my surprise, all our hard work paid off and we reached Diamond Status in May 2020 during very strict Lockdown Regulations.
I lead by example when it comes to recruiting new Members and mentoring them to reach for new Leadership Statuses.
DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL AND WHY IS THIS PERSON YOUR ROLE MODEL?
I joined this business with no knowledge of how to become successful. Fortunately, Nodumo Maqetuka took me under her wing. I am in her second downline. She sacrificed her family time and airtime to call and coach me and even showed me how to place orders when I was still a new Member. She taught me to always remember “WHY” I joined the business. I followed in her footsteps as I truly admire her courage. My sister, Weziwe Pahleni, is my direct downline and she has also been a role model to me on how to be an entrepreneur and this had a remarkable impact on me and my team. Thank you to my team and Weziwe’s team, Mama-INUKA. You are true winners.
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST STRENGTH?
I am a teachable person and implement all the techniques that my mentors have taught me. I am a self-determined individual who fights for what I want and who does not give up. I live my business all the time. I set my own personal goals for monthly targets to make it easy to maintain Quarterly Awards. I encourage my entire team to reach new status levels.
HOW DO YOU PUSH THROUGH YOUR MOST CHALLENGING TIMES?
As a Christian, I put prayer first, all the time for strength. I call myself a winner. I believe that a winner is someone who has faced many challenges but never quits.
HOW DO YOU MOTIVATE YOUR TEAM TO WORK FOR THE INUKA QUARTERLY & ANNUAL INCENTIVES?
I teach and explain all the business information to my team and set monthly targets for each to enable all to reach all the levels of success and financial rewards that INUKA offers. I created a WhatsApp group where I manage my team as a family. I also do one-one sessions to understand each one’s expectations and goals. HOW DO YOU STAY IN TOUCH WITH EVERYONE IN THE GROUP? I have a direct downline that is already a Diamond Leader and she is taking care of her own Downline. This leaves more time for me to focus on the other Members in my Downline.
