INUKA’s 10 th Anniversary has been a milestone that I have been looking forward to celebrating with our Members for 10 years. It has been a remarkable decade of dreams come true. I am humbled by the positive impact our Members created with their INUKA Products and Business Opportunity by bringing Change , Value and Hope to so many people’s lives.
As 2020 unfolded an uninvited guest, COVID-19, arrived in our lives and we encountered a very different world from the one we expected, planned and anticipated.
The past 12 months have personally taught me many lessons. The most important lesson being to passionately believe in your dreams and keep dreaming big. Nomakanjani! (No matter what!). Let us be in service of our dreams. This will allow us to get over our fears and keep going forward, no matter the obstacles that are thrown in our paths.
COVID-19 also taught us that changing times can lead us to a stronger, more determined new chapter, giving each of us the opportunity to grow FROM HERO TO SUPERHERO .
Our Members and entrepreneurs have had to change and adapt how they do business under COVID-19 circumstances. They improvised and embraced new realities. They shared their wisdom and radiated their love. As entrepreneurs, the light of HOPE they provided shined bright and illuminated a pathway for others to follow in their footsteps. On their journey they became a source of strength and courage.
In this issue of our InTouch Jubilee Edition, we celebrate the Annual and Sales Quarter 4 Achievements by our Members under these challenging circumstances.
Our Top 100 Business Leaders were afforded with an opportunity to attend our VIP Event at Emperors Palace, Gauteng under very unusual lockdown regulation circumstances.
At this 2020 Annual Event, despite all the 2020 worldwide challenges, the pay-outs to our Achievers had grown to an astonishing R 9,029,000.00 (2019: R4,752,000.00). This pay-out included the surprise pay-out of R30,000.00 to each of our Top 25 Business Leaders 2020. TOP 100 BUSINESS LEADERS RESULTS 2020 Our Annual Recognition Program is aimed to inspire our Members to build a consistent, reliable and growing business by focusing on 4 important pillars towards success: Personal Sales, Group Sales, Recruiting and Promoting. These pillars are also known as our 4 Rainbow Challenge Categories. A Member’s performance is calculated as a percentage value for each of the 4 Rainbow Categories. To ensure focus on all 4 of the business success pillars, each category has the same weight and a maximum score of 100% per category is calculated. The total sum of the 4 categories is divided by 4 to get a percentage value out of a 100. In the event of more than one Member achieving 100% for all 4 categories, the total rainbow score for these Members is not capped, and scores above 100% are brought into the calculation to determine our Members’ ranking.
The INUKA Top 100 Business Leaders and the Ambassador of the year will be the Leaders with the highest Rainbow Challenge ranking.

THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
I joined INUKA in December 2016, but I only started to take my business seriously in 2018 when I attended one of the INUKA Events in South Africa. I left the meeting upset with myself because I was not taking my business seriously at the time, especially when I witnessed all the success and financial freedom other Members were enjoying. This was a serious motivation for me. One of the things that made me grow in the business was the fact that I learnt that every business requires an investment of your time, faith, focus and determination. I stopped doing all my other business activities I had on the side and only focused on INUKA, because I witnessed that INUKA was a profitable business. Since the moment that I decided to embrace my INUKA Business, my life has changed both financially and socially. INUKA is more than a business, it is a family. As Members we are cared for and recognized according to our work and commitment. I cannot imagine my life without my INUKA Business. Those who think that doing a business is just enjoyment, there are risks also, and one of the things that has given me more strength is knowing that I was overcoming and reinventing myself. I have also learned that the higher we grow and the more successful we become in life; the more negative minded people will appear on our way.
I love the phrase that says: “THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.” This quote inspired me to build a successful and consistent business over time. I never expected that this philosophy would lead to me being announced the No 1 Business Leader and INUKA Ambassador 2020. My focus is to always share the INUKA Busines Opportunity and to constantly introduce more people to the business so that I can grow a consistent and reliable business. I have learnt over time that a new member always brings new ideas to the business on how to be an Entrepreneur and we can all learn from each other. We do not have to do our business in isolation, and we can work together as a team to uplift each other. I always tell my team to lead by their own good example. It is not possible to convince someone to invest in the business if we cannot invest in our business ourselves. We must be the first to show the people what INUKA really means to our life because that is the only way people will believe in the business and take it seriously.

When I think of my INUKA Business many things come to my mind. In summary, I would say it is about meeting your power. One thing I realized on my journey is that when you live with a strong purpose, then hard work is not an option but a necessity.
2020 has been the year of challenges. It was not easy to work under Covid-19 restrictions. Together with my team we had to manage our fears and push our boundaries. Since the day I got my starter kit on 4 October 2017, I told myself that I will persevere until I make it to the top.
My dream to be a Top Business Leader started in 2018 at the INUKA Annual Gala Event. At that stage I was already a Diamond Leader, although I have only been a Member for a few months. I did not make it to being a Top 25, Top 20 or Top 5 Business Leader. That night inspired me to work harder to become at least a Top 10 Business Leader in 2019. I did achieve this goal in 2019. It is important to aim high so that when you miss the target, you will not end far from your dreams and goals. After Gala 2019, I then planned the next Annual Recognition categories I wanted to achieve in 2020. My goal was to double up on my Annual Recognition Earnings and I came very close to this goal. My advice is to always have a plan and goals. In my team everyone has a goal and a plan on the amount of monthly Volume Rebate that we want to earn. We believe that a goal with no plan is doomed because there is nothing pushing you to do it. The same applies for Annual Recognition results. Start planning your goals when the Annual Recognition Year starts and do not wait until the last moment. Proper planning prevents poor performance. As a business person you must always dream big.

Being goal driven, the Covid-19 pandemic opened other opportunities and I did not sit back and relax. I marketed my INUKA Business as an alternative source of income and I refused to listen to negativity. I encouraged my team to improve continuously on our Group PV’s and to join more social network groups to market themselves. Very importantly, I also kept track of all my downlines and their progress and kept them motivated and updated. I always make myself available for my team. I am a good listener and have patience. I never get irritated about explaining or repeating the same things to the people I lead. I have an open-door policy. I do not shutdown people’s advice or opinions and I am easy to get along with. Time management is the key to my progress.
I always make sure I have stock and I take my stock with me wherever I go. I also make plans to ensure my customers get what they want quickly when I do not have the product in stock.
