The candidate should demonstrate a sound understanding in the following criteria:

Experience Demonstrable experience of managing a large multi-phase residential refurbishment/ redevelopment project (circa £20m plus) in an occupied environment;

Student accommodation or residential housing construction/ refurbishment/ redevelopment background PFI/PPP experience of stakeholder management would be beneficial;

Cladding replacement/ over-cladding experience preferred; Ten years relevant experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Contract Management, or Estate (Asset) Management. Excellent Client Management skills; Technical understanding of construction, snag/ defect management; Technical understanding of specifications; Strong ability to be able to read, interpret and report on construction programming; Evolved project management skills in the construction industry; Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong influencing and people management skills; Self-sufficient in appropriate IT packages;

Skills/Ability and Knowledge

Education/ Qualifica- tion

Professional Project

At least 15 years of relevant industry experience.

Management/ Construction Management degree; Membership to a recognised Institution (e.g. CIOB, RICS, etc);

Experience of working successfully in a post-construction services role will be taken into full consideration
