Are Your Clubs Ready for Golf Season?

When was the last time you had your clubs re-gripped? Eighteen months is the absolute maximum you should wait to change your grips because slick or worn grips can have a negative impact on your game. Maintaining proper grip pressure is essential in making a smooth swing, but worn grips require tighter grip pressure which inhibits the swing and can be especially slippery in wet conditions. Degradation is gradual, so you may not even realize how worn they’ve gotten. Stop by either Golf Shop for more information or to have one of the Golf Professionals take a look at your grips.

SGLNV - Senior Golf League of Northern Virginia

The Senior Golf League of Northern Virginia was founded in 2004 to promote friendly competition between Senior Golfers at Country Clubs. Matches are played at scratch on Wednesdays about 10:30 – 11:30 AM. ANCC needs low handicap senior golfers (age 50+) to play on the ANCC team. For more information, click here, or contact the Team Captains: Lynn Wessman at lwessman@comcast.net or Peter Jacobi at petergeezergolf@comcast.net.
