Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.” (3) We know through the answers we have to our prayers — Psalm 34:6 “This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” In the New Testament we read of Christ’s prayer life with His Father. One instance is in the story of the raising of Lazarus which shows the confidence He had in his Father. John 11:38-44. Notice verse 41. This con fidence in our Heavenly Father can be ours also.

The true and only assurance we have is in the One who is “the same yesterday, to day and forever.” He never fails; He never speaks an untruth.
