Featured at the LPAPA Gallery In Laguna Beach
The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) is proud to present its 4th Annual “ LPAPA Squared ” all-member year-end juried show as both an online Art Catalog exhibition and a LPAPA Gallery show and sale of 8” x 8” artwork created by LPAPA Members. LPAPA's President Toni Kellenberg shares , “This annual all member show is a wonderful opportunity to present an expansive gallery exhibition featuring a variety of mediums and subject matters celebrating our diverse membership, from our seasoned professionals to emerging artists and students, in the 8” x 8” format that allows us the opportunity to hang a large number of small works. Paintings created both in plein air and in the studio are included in this show.” With the support of our artists and patrons, LPAPA is keeping the century old Laguna plein air painting legacy and tradition alive! When you join LPAPA, you become part of the tradition and legacy! The online “Virtual Gallery” Art Catalog Exhibition & Preview Auction will open on Monday December 4th, followed by the Gallery opening on December 7th with the exhibition continuing through January 1, 2024. The 4th annual all-member “LPAPA Squared” year-end juried art show will open online Monday December 4th with an online Preview Auction in advance of the physical gallery show opening on Thursday December 7th. This unique format provides collectors from near and far with the opportunity to add a special work of art to his or her art collection, and support LPAPA and the Artists, with the opportunity to enjoy a potential 20% savings!
The online preview and silent auction opens at 10:00 am PST on Monday December 4th, and ends Thursday December 7th at 8:00 pm PST. All painting sizes are 8” x 8” and sold framed with a starting auction price at 80% of the full gallery retail price, with bidding at minimum $10 increments. LPAPA has included a Buy-Now feature so you can secure your purchase at the full retail price before the show opens at the gallery! The LPAPA Gallery Reception & Awards Presentation will be hosted during First Thursdays Art Walk on Thursday, December 7th, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, with awards to be announced at 7:00 pm. We will also host a live-stream broadcast of the awards presentation through the LPAPA Facebook Page. The LPAPA Gallery is located on Gallery Row at 414 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach (Maps). Gallery hours are 11AM-5PM, Thursday through Monday, and by appointment with extended hours to 9PM the first Thursday of each month for Art Walk. Please note that the LPAPA Gallery will be closed for the holidays on December 24th & 25th and December 31st and January 1st, however, you may contact us in advance for purchase inquiries or to check available hours for holiday gallery appointments .
