Golf 2016 Senior Men’s Golf Organization The Senior Men’s Golf Organization (SMGO) invites all ANCC members age 55 and over to participate in our men’s senior golf program in 2016. This is organized play that develops new friendships and enhances your enjoyment of the game of golf and Club facilities. The SMGO program features an ABCD scramble at 8:30 AM on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Arlington course commencing in April and continuing through October. Other tournaments may be scheduled when play dates are available. All ANCC members are welcome regardless of their handicap. If you were a member in 2015, your membership will automatically be renewed for 2016. A sign-up list for new members of the SMGO will be posted in both the Arlington and Fairfax Golf Shops by December 1, 2015. If you do not want to participate in 2016, please indicate your decision to be deleted on the sign-up sheet at the Arlington Golf Shop or you may contact Peter Junghans at pjunghans@aol.com or 703-836-7966. New members who may be leaving the area for the winter

are encouraged to sign-up prior to departing. The 2016 dues level will be set prior to the opening of the season. Dues cover the cost of the lunch in the Clubhouse at the completion of each of the 14 tournaments...best deal in town! Standard cart fees are charged for each event in which a member participates. A $10.00 entry fee is collected at each event for the prize pool, a dues augmentation and for the cost of coffee and pastries.

WNHGO (Women’s 9 Hole) The Women’s Nine Hole Golf Organization always welcomes new members throughout the year. Consider joining us in 2016. Any questions, please contact Nancy Nicholson at npnicholson6105@gmail.com . “Please save the date” and “Mark your Calendars” for the WNHGO Spring Kick Off Luncheon which will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Arlington. As a recap, the 2015 season ended at the Fall Luncheon with trophies being presented to the winners of WNHGO’s three major tournaments: The Committee Cup - Katrina Berdelle, J.J. Haffey; Memorial Cup - Becky Seedlock; The Memorial Cup - Mary Fields. The Most Improved Golfer Award was awarded to Linda Wharton. Winter Golf sign up sheets are posted in the ARL and FFX ladies locker rooms. A total of 10 rounds of golf must be played only at the Army Navy courses at ARL and FFX. Players are to post their scores on the grid sheet which is posted on the bulletin boards in the ladies locker room. The season runs from November 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016. WGO-18 (Women’s 18-hole) The 2015 season ended Fall Luncheon and General Meeting on November 6. Pat Golembieski was honored with the “Most Improved” golfer of the year. Winter Golf, December through March, is now under way. Contact Barbara Drake, bdrake409@gmail.com , for more information. New members are welcome at any time during the year. Contact Debbie Dawson, debbie.dawson@comcast.net , for more details. In 2016, league play will be scheduled on Tuesdays at Arlington and Friday at Fairfax. Tournaments generally have an 8:30 shotgun start. In April, May, September and October tee times for play days will be from 8:30 - 10:30. In June, July, and August tee times will be from 8:00 - 10:00. Play Day Information: Initially, sign-up sheets are available at the Spring Luncheon. Thereafter, tee time sign-up sheets will be available in the Pro Shops. Play is in foursomes. For general information about WGO-18, please click here .
