The first in a sequence of courses directed toward competence in administration, scoring and inter­ pretation of psychological tests. The course involves a survey of basic concepts and principles of psychological meas urement , in c ludin g factors influencing validity and reliability. Emphasis is placed on the C hild and Adult Int e lligen ce sca les as well as measures of achievement, adjust­ ment, and ada pti ve behavior. Grad uate student will administer test batteri es to public school and clinic populations and also engage in diagnostic and report writing activities. Graduate students will also learn diagnostic criteria for hand icapped children as well as their legal ri g hts as sec forth by Public Law 94-142.
