WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT THIS TIME OF YEAR? On Gratitude, Friendships, and Our QLS Live Event

With the number of holidays that take place this time of year, many people find themselves stressed, exhausted, and frustrated from preparing for family celebrations. For example, in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, people will rid their house of every speck of dust, brave the grocery stores to go shopping, and spend hours prepping the turkey before dinner. This frenzied practice causes many people to lose sight of what is actually important this time of year: gratitude. It is for this reason that my family and I wanted to take the time to highlight an event that we are all particularly thankful for this year: our Quantum Leap System (QLS) Live Event. We have hosted this QLS event every year since 2016, but we were particularly grateful for the experience we had this year on Sept. 21 and 22. You see, this event initially started in a basement with only 19 people, and by the next year, 47 people had signed

up to attend. Made up of existing and prospective Associates as well as successful investors throughout the U.S., attendees are able to add to their “My family and I wanted to take the time to highlight an event that we are all particularly thankful for this year: our Quantum Leap System (QLS) Live Event.” knowledge of buying and selling on terms and access new legal forms and negotiating tips, which will help them multiply their profits with ample new opportunities.

Beyond getting to connect with our Associates over the course of two days, my family’s and my favorite part was listening to the experts who agreed to come and speak. We make a point to only bring in speakers who can complement our Associates’ businesses rather than merely sell them stuff they don’t need. While we had several phenomenal speakers, the two I want to highlight are Dr. Joe Vitale and Staff Sgt. Shilo Harris. I can’t imagine that people haven’t heard of Dr. Vitale, but just in case you haven’t, he is the president of Hypnotic Marketing, Inc., and has written several best-selling books, such as “Spiritual Marketing” and “Hypnotic Writing.” He was also featured in the international blockbuster film, “The Secret.” Throughout our years working together, Dr. Vitale has given my family and I sage

Genuine, Sincere, and Trustworthy Coaches THE RESULTS O Our team here at Smart Real Estate Coach knows that starting a new business venture can sometimes be a frightening and frustrating experience. Between deciding which pursuit you want to attempt, spending hours doing research, and finding mentors who can actually help you, you can invest lots of time and money and still

advice, and we’ve forged a great friendship. We were especially excited that he agreed to speak at our event this year because he revealed his newest book, “The Wealth Attraction Secrets for Real Estate Investors,” a private training for attendees of QLS Live only. In addition to the informative and helpful material provided by Dr. Vitale, all of us at the event were so grateful to meet Staff Sgt. Shilo Harris and hear his amazing story. In 2007, Sgt. Shilo was hit by 700 pounds of explosives while he was serving in Iraq. As a result, he lost his ears, part of his nose, several fingers, and over a third of his skin. All in attendance at QLS Live were fortunate enough to hear his inspiring story and apply his motivational approach to life to help guide them in their own struggles. With all the helpful information, the inspiring stories, and the educational conversation, the experience my family and I shared with our Associates this year seems hard to beat, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to try! Stay tuned for more information regarding next year’s QLS Live Event, or check out our QLS Webinar at Perhaps next year, you’ll be just as grateful as we are for time spent with our impassioned and motivated company.

not close any deals. That is where we come in. We know the easiest and quickest ways to help our Associates with their real estate investments because we are in the trenches with them doing our own deals. One of our favorite High 6 Associates, Claudia Dill, described her own transition into buying and selling on terms:

“Three years ago, before I met Chris and his team, I signed up for a different investment program and had only been able to do one deal over the course of a year. So when

Being mentors in the real estate business, we always encourage both our prospective and existing Associates to ask questions regarding any aspect of buying and selling on terms. Like anything else in life, learning a new trade takes time, and initially, the systems might seem far more complex than they actually are. That’s where our coaches come in. For this edition, we recall one of our most frequently asked questions and offer some feedback that should be helpful regardless of where you are in your process of buying and selling on terms.

REAL REAL ESTATE a fellow investor recommended Smart Real Estate Coach to me, I went online to do some research and came across a video of Chris. I immediately regarded him as a business owner and person I could relate to. Initially, I started consulting him and his team on a month-by-month basis, but after only four months, I opted to invest in the High 6 Associate program. I flew across the country and spent two days working side by side with each member of the team. I found the whole experience so eye-opening and motivating. “With their guidance, I went from doing one deal a year to now having six properties and some others in the works. Not only has the team dramatically helped me with my investment goals, but they continue to make themselves accessible to their Associates — I am constantly blown away by the dedication and support from their entire team. They offer access to the ever-evolving resources and concepts associated with the process of doing deals, and they are all genuinely sincere and trustworthy people. I am so grateful for their ability to foster growth, ideas, and overall confidence. If you invest with them, I have no doubt that you’ll get your money back, but only if you do what they say! ” To learn more about buying and selling on your own terms, visit our website at or call 855-667-7336. we arrange a time for them to view the property. All of our vacant homes have a lockbox, and we give the buyer a code for access. While they are viewing the property, we send them an email including our “next step” forms, which help us get the highest possible down payment, and potential buyers get their financing at the end of the term. After we get the forms back, we call the buyer to go over those forms. If we come to a point where we are comfortable with a buyer’s information, we’ll go ahead and schedule a meeting and go from there. Because we use this method for our own properties, we know that some things can go wrong within the buyer process. If you have questions, are running into issues, or just want more information, feel free to reach out to Nick at Nick@

The first time a new transaction engineer takes control of a property, excitement mixes with anxiety over whether there is a buyer to be found. My son Nick is our buyers’ specialist and has been a great help to our Associates over the years. Because he is an expert in all he does, Nick works hard to help our new investors become experts by breaking down the multiple layers of screening that our team uses for finding buyers for our own properties. Then he shows Associates how to implement them, as well. When a buyer approaches us and wants to look at a property, we start by sending a carefully crafted “buyer form” email. This email directs him or her to our Buyer Q&A videos. After they have watched the videos,

Achoo! That’s the last noise you want to hear this winter. Cold weather brings a slew of sicknesses, so be vigilant to treat these common illnesses, or better yet, avoid them altogether. THE COMMON COLD Although there is no cure, a cold is easier to treat than other illnesses. If you or a loved one has a runny nose, low-grade fever, headache, cough, nasal congestion, or sore throat, the common cold has most likely taken hold. With the help of rest and perhaps some cold medicine, like cough drops and decongestants, the cold will come and go in about a week. BRONCHIOLITIS 4WINTER ILLNESSES YOU’D RATHER AVOID

children will recover with at-home rest, but some may need to be hospitalized for more severe symptoms. INFLUENZA The flu is known for causing high fever, muscle aches and pains, nausea, and other symptoms similar to a cold. Often, the fever will last for around five days, but it can be shortened with the aid of antiviral medications. However, these medications are recommended only for children who face serious complications or hospitalization from the flu. If you want to avoid catching this, your best bet is to receive the annual flu vaccine. STREP THROAT A sore throat, headache, stomach ache, vomiting, and high fever are signs of strep. This infection is treated with antibiotics and should be addressed soon after the first symptoms appear to prevent further complications. Children with strep throat should stay away from school and other activities until they’ve been on antibiotics for 24 hours. Everyone knows that getting sick is no fun and is best avoided at all costs. However, it happens to everyone eventually. Catching a virus or infection in its early stages can help you shake the sickness much faster.

Bronchiolitis appears most commonly in children less than a year old and is caused by other viruses. Of the many symptoms — nasal congestion, low-grade fevers, and coughing — wheezing is the one you should be most concerned about. If your child is having difficulty breathing and is dehydrated, they may have caught a more serious strain of the virus. Most
