Sunday March 3, 2024 Doors 1pm Show 2pm Marin Shakespeare Teen Touring Company performs A Midsummer Night’s Dream On Sunday March 3, 2024 , we are so excited to welcome Marin Shakespeare to the Community Center for the first time. Marin Shakespeare Teen Touring Company will perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream , a raucous comedy where the world is topsy-turvy and magic makes fools of everyone. Directed by Valley native Elana Kepner, the Teen Touring Company is a unique opportunity for actors aged 12 – 19 to create and tour a Shakespeare play to schools, senior centers and com- munity organizations. Students work with a professional director and dive into conservatory-style rehearsal and training in voice and text work, acting and move- ment. Coming to the San Geronimo Valley Community Center on their tour of 14 schools, senior community and community venues, 9 teen actors from all over Marin and as far away as the East Bay, play more than 20 characters in this 50-minute adaptation of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedy. Join us for a truly magical theater experience, filled with mischievous fairies, love spells gone wrong, unforgettable characters and, of course, Shakespeare’s beautiful language. Fun for the whole family! Tickets $10; 16 and under free.
