THREE TREASURES QI - GONG with Sean Lim

COMMUNITY BAND with Julie Egger

In this class we will be practicing the Yi Jin Jing (Muscle Tendon Changing Classic) created by Bodhidharma, the founder of Zen (Chan) Buddhism and of the Shaolin temple. This series of 24 exercises pre- pares the body to develop martial power and deep meditation. By practicing Qi Gong, one can achieve mental calm, relief from stress and anxiety, release of aches and pains, and a whole realignment of the body that can help recover from illnesses and injuries. Accessible to all ages, these practices can be performed at gentle or athletic levels. One may find that their physical abilities expand gradually and without force, while doing these practices. In our school, we cultivate three successive, simultaneous, stages of development. FEE: $120 per month ($1800/year), sliding scale options available Drop-ins $20 per class DAYS/TIME: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 - 8:30am LOCATION: West Room CONTACT: Sean Lim, sean.lim@me.com or (415) 306-2850 To register visit: https://sgvcc.myrec.com/ STRENGTH AND STRETCH YOGA with Amber Charne, RYT

Take those instruments out of the closet and start playing again. Whether you are an amateur player or have played for a while, come join the community band and start playing music with others once again. Did you know that playing a musical instrument uses every part of your brain. This class is about getting together, having fun and mak- ing music together. Julie Egger has played music all her life and wants to bring this magic to folks in the valley. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Bring your instrument and not your ego.
