THE INTERNATIONAL MEETING in December marks Prestbury Park’s countdown to Christmas, with two days of racing action on 13th and 14th December. So why not gather your close friends and do something a little different this year by spending a day at the races? The Friday of The International is the perfect place to get into the festive spirit as we celebrate Christmas Jumper Day. So make sure your jumper is festive, frivolous and designed to get you noticed -- and be in with a chance to win one of the on-the-spot prizes throughout the afternoon. throughout Saturday afternoon, and a carefully selected shopping area for those last-minute Christmas gifts. There are plenty of hospitality options at The International, with many racegoers using this as the perfect opportunity to entertain friends, family and clients. The International is a fixture to warm the hearts and fairytale performances often take place on the track. The 2018 meeting was no different as Jockey Club Ambassador, Bryony Frost, took Saturday’s feature race, the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup, aboard her “best friend” Frodon for owner Paul Vogt and Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls. Trainer Paul said of the win: “What an engine he must have to keep galloping

like that and jump like he did – astonishing horse. The improvement in him is just unbelievable. Those sort of horses suit Bryony – they were just amazing.” Frodon became only the second dual winner of the race with a tremendous weight-carrying performance in the £130,000 handicap chase. This was the flying start the pair needed as they went on to score top honours in the Cotswold Trial Chase, and eventually made history as Bryony became the first female to win a Grade 1 over fences at The 2019 Festival ™ presented by Magners. The opening day of The International Meeting sees the Glenfarclas Cross Country chase. This is a unique race that
