Rotating Swivel Joints are used for the transfer of fluid between rotating and static parts. For over 40 years BGB have designed & manufactured custom and integrated rotary solutions for a wide range of applications. BGB utilises its in house precision machining and assembly expertise to ensure that your solution can be implemented into the required envelope of the assembly, be it wind turbine pitch hydraulics, tracked excavators or packaging equipment.

Fine tolerances, gasket selection and seal design ensure no unquantified leaks from manufacture. This is rigorously validated against the test specification within our specifically designed in-house test rigs. The test rigs allow: pre-installation, application of temperature and pressure performance to give peace of mind.

ATEX and other environmental tests can be validated via access to BGB’s in-house testing capabilities or externally certified through our trusted partners.

Depending on your requirements, BGB can support you in the design of multi- passage swivel joints, combined solutions and facilitation of various fluids. In highly corrosive environments (such as marine) or where there is exposure to external agents, BGB can support you in the most appropriate material selection to ensure solution life expectancy is achieved and the cleanliness of your medium is protected.

For higher pressure applications with fewer channels, BGB is able to test up to 300bar to ensure the leakage rates are within specification.

BGB systems can also include optional features like: Limit Switches, Encoders, Condition Monitoring, Lightning Protection, Fibre Optic Joints and slip ring assemblies
