KARAĐORĐEVO This settlement in Bačka Palanka municipality marks the spot where history has often been created, and where the larg- est stables in Serbia can today be found, with a hippodrome and museum that make this an interesting place to visit, but its most alluring feature is the eponymous nature reserve lo- cated on its territory. Karađorđevo is a site with a long tradi- tion that will satisfy both nature lovers and visitors interested in exploring monuments of culture. The reserve comprises veritable mosaics of forests and communities of swamp-marshland plants, with the oc- casional rare and endangered species, which hold spe- cial importance for the overall preservation of biodiversi- ty. It is worth mentioning in particular the remnants of relict pedunculate oak forests. Representatives of relict flo- rae with a Mediterranean character have also been re- corded in the area of the watercourse of the river Mos- tonga, including the significant presence of white water-lilies. When it comes to fauna, Karađorđe- vo provides shelter for various species of animals and birds, standing out among which is the beau- tiful fallow deer.
KARAĐORĐEVO Naselje u opštini Bačka Palanka tačka je na kojoj je često stvarana istorija, a gde se danas mogu naći najveća erge- la u Srbiji, hipodrom i muzej, ali najveći biser je istoimeni re- zervat prirode smešten na njegovoj teritoriji. Karađorđevo je mesto sa dugom tradicijom, koje će zadovoljiti i ljubitelje prirode i posetioce zainteresovane za istraživanje spome- nika kulture. Rezervat se sastoji od mozaika šumskih i bar- sko-močvarnih biljnih zajednica sa pojedinim retkim i ugro- ženim vrstama, koje su od posebnog značaja za očuvanje ukupnog biodiverziteta.
