AA = Type AA Buffer; A = Type A Buffer; B = Type B Buffer; C = Type C Buffer; X = No buffer required 1 Only required where an adjacent, more intense use is pre-existing and no equivalent buffer is provided on the adjacent property. If an adjacent, existing use provides a buffer that is less than the current, required width, the proposed use shall install 50% of the required buffer indicated. 2 Agricultural Uses excluding Backyard pens/coops and Gardens. Nurseries and Garden Centers and Farm Stands shall be considered commercial uses for buffer purposes. 3 PUD District shall determine buffer yards as specified in the concept plan

2. Renaissance Area : Except when abutting any of the following uses or uses located outside of the Renaissance Area, development in the Renaissance Area shall be exempted from landscape buffer standards in the preceding section. In cases where development abuts the following uses, buffers shall be provided in accordance with this Chapter: a. Cemetery b. Utility c. Railroad d. Existing residential e. Industrial B. Street Yard Buffers 1. Where a development abuts a major or minor thoroughfare as identified on the Wake Forest Transpo rtation Plan, a street yard buffer of no less than 20’ in width shall be required along the edge of the right-of-way. 2. Street yard buffers shall be established using:
