LOVEFEST (4 TH -6 TH AUGUST, SERBIA)
This year’s edition, under the slogan Refresh, promises to be the biggest and best in the festival’s history. Leg- ends of the world electronic scene will be arriving in Vrnjačka Banja from 4 th to 6 th August. The already famous location of the park beside the Jeze- ro spring will provide the venue for performers on as many as five mu- sic stages. The world-famous Kollek- tiv Turmstrasse will perform on Lovef- est’s biggest stage already on the
Jones, Joseph Capriati and Wil- liam Djoko, while Vrnjačka Ban- ja will be welcoming the likes of Danny Tenaglia, top DJs Folam- our and Kölsch, as well as Son- ja Moonear and Archie Hamilton, for the first time. Famous Zagreb rock band Hlad- no Pivo will open the festival’s 15 th edition, with the audience offered an opportunity to en- joy their concert and count- less hits from the whopping sev- en studio albums that the band has released to date. The festi- val’s Live Stage will host Kanda, Kodža and Nebojša on the same evening. Hip-hop collective Be- ogradski Sindikat arrives in Vrn- jačka Banja for the first time, with the festival’s iconic Beefeater Live Stage hosting this legend- ary collective on Friday, 5 th Au- gust, the second day of the fes- tival. The much-loved Prti Bee Gee duo will perform on the same evening, presenting hits from the album Pet+1, which has already received wide acclaim and is ranked as one of the most listened to albums of 2021. Clos- ing this summer’s jubilee edition of the festival will be Senidah, whose previous performances on the Live stage have already proven her to be among the au- dience’s favourite artists.
Lovefest began its life as a party on the Bridge of Love in Vrnjačka Ban- ja, but quickly grew to become a genuine festival of love that brings the biggest names of the electronic scene to this small tourist spa town, where tens of thousands of visitors gather. This festival brings the best in house and techno to the shores of the lake in Vrnjačka Banja, but it doesn’t stop with the music line-up, as the programme also includes film screenings, workshops and much more.
