DESPITE THE STRONG IMPACT OF THE Omicron strain of the coronavirus, Air Serbia carried more than 90,000 passengers in January 2022, marking a 71 per cent incre- ase on the same month of 2021, which was also affected by the winter wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. “By increasing the number of passengers carried in January by as much as 71 per cent compared to the sa- me month of last year, we have shown that we are ready for the strong expansion that we expect in the coming period. These results also prove that our decisions, as well as our strategy, are on the right track, which we be- lieve will help us to be stronger in the coming months, to the mutual satisfaction of both us and our passengers,” said Air Serbia Head of Sales Boško Rupić. The Serbian national airline also launched new PSO routes from Niš Constantine the Great Airport and Kra- ljevo Morava Airport in January 2022, thus enabling pas- sengers from different parts of the country to more ea- sily reach the European destinations included in the Air Serbia network. Air Serbia saw traffic increase by 39 per cent du- ring 2021, with the airline carrying 83 per cent more pa- ssengers than in 2020, while the number of passengers carried in January 2021 totalled 53,457. Zabeleženi rezultati takođe dokazuju da su naše odluke, kao i naša strategi- ja, na pravom putu, za koji verujemo da ce nam pomo- ci da u narednim mesecima budemo jači na obostrano zadovoljstvo, nas i naših putnika – izjavio je Boško Rupi- c, viši menadžer prodaje u Er Srbiji . Srpska nacionalna avio-kompanija je u januaru us- postavila nove linije od javnog interesa sa Aerodroma Konstantin Veliki u Nišu i Aerodroma Morava u Kraljevu, čime je putnicima iz različitih delova zemlje omogućila da stignu do evropskih destinacija u mreži Er Srbije . Er Srbija je tokom 2021. godine realizovala za 39 odsto veći obim saobraćaja i prevezla za 83 odsto više putnika u odnosu na 2020. godinu, dok je broj putnika tokom januara iznosio 53.457.
