Saturday night Allen, Ayotte, Lavoie and Keean McEachern each scored points for Vankleek Hill with goal assists from Allen, Castonguay, Dopelhamer, Lacroix, Simoneau, and Hugo Blanchard. Frédérick Durocher blocked the Cougars net. Scoring for Gatineau were Cédric Bertrand, Mathieu Des Ruisseaux, and Simon Hupé, with goal assists from Jérémie Cardinal, Mattias Roy, and Jeremy Trudeau. Jérémy Martin was in the net. The Cougars host St-Isidore November 24.
The Vankleek Hill Cougars added two more wins to their NCJHL scoresheet over the November 17 weekend. The Cougars crowned the Bytown Royals in Ottawa 8-3 last Friday night then came home Saturday night to host the Gatineau Hull-Volant in a 4-3 rematch in the Cougars’ favour. Ryan Allen hammered home a hat trick against the Royals with single points added to the Vankleek Hill total by Nikolas Ayotte, Tyler Dopelhamer, Justin Labrosse, Jonathan Lacroix, and Charles-Olivier Portelance. Scoring assists came from Dopelhamer, Labrosse, Lacroix, Nicolas Castonguay, Samuel Drouin, Trystan Lavoie, and Joey
