&/#3&'r#3*&'4 COMMITTEES OPEN FOR NOMINATIONS Several municipal committees in the Town of Hawkesbury are accepting new members, including the Hawkesbury Police Services Board, the Hawkesbury Public Library Board, Hawkesbury Hydro Board, the Minor Variance Committee, the Hawkesbury Community Industrial Strategic Planning Association, Business Improvement Area, the Municipal Accessibility Committee, the Municipal Cultural Policy Follow-up Committee and the Citizen Committee. Nominations must be submitted before November 22. Pour y participer, il suffit de remplir un formulaire de soumission de commentaires, répondre au sondage en ligne ou participer à une des séances de forum téléphonique qui auront lieu dans plusieurs régions au cours des prochaines semaines. Tulmar Safety Systems, a Hawkesbury- based provider of safety and survival equipment to global aerospace and defence industries, was selected by Air- bus as one of 20 Canadian companies showing the most promise for develo- ping business with Airbus or with one of its top suppliers. Tulmar was invited to the Airbus Global Supplier Conference in Montreal on October 25 to showcase its capabilities. “We are very fortunate to be identified as a company Airbus wants to do more business with,” said Barney Bangs, Tulmar’s President and CEO. “There are over 400 aerospace companies in Canada and to have landed among the top 20 “champions”, as Airbus refers to it, is a great honor.” TULMAR NAMED ONE OF 20 “CANADIAN CHAMPIONS”
