• SPARKS CONVERSATIONS. Storytelling is a powerful way to bring communities together, encourage empathy, and highlight issues and topics that are important to our audiences. Over the last year, TPT shared stories across our state and nation that sparked community conversations, addressed systemic inequities, and supported social change. • FOSTERS LEARNING. Education is core to TPT’s mission. TPT created programming and community outreach that engaged children, empowered educators, supported caregivers, and fostered life-long learning. • PROMOTES COMMUNITY. By celebrating local communities, places, and spaces, sharing perspectives, and providing essential information, TPT encouraged viewers to support local artists and cultural institutions, participate in civic affairs, and stay informed on essential health and safety issues. • SUPPORTS CONNECTION. Through programming, resources, and events, TPT brought communities together, encouraged shared learning and understanding, highlighted diverse perspectives, and created opportunities for children and families to play and learn together. • SERVES AUDIENCES.
