Policies related to working conditions for the Group’s own workforce [S1-1]
The Zumtobel Group’s commitments towards its employees as well as the duties of its employees themselves are clearly de- fined by global policies, strategies and rules of conduct. The Zumtobel Group’s integra- ted management system (IMS) encompas- ses the implementation of the FOCUSED[+] strategy. Both the Code of Conduct and Health & Safety policy are available to all stakeholder groups on the Zumtobel Group’s website. The ‘Declaration of Principles on Human Rights’ is freely available on the intranet and can therefore be accessed by Zumtobel Group’s own workforce. Any policy revisi- ons concerning the Group’s own workforce (Code of Conduct, health & safety policies, Declaration of Principles on Human Rights) are carried out through a cross-departmen- tal consultation process. These policies cover the entire workforce and have been approved by the Management Board in each case. The objective and main elements of the Declaration of Principles on Human Rights are described below. More information on the Code of Conduct can be found in the section ‘Business con- duct policies and corporate culture [G1-1]’. The Health & Safety Policy is described in more detail in the section ‘Policies related to the health and safety of the Group’s own workforce [S1-1]’.
