Action to promote diversity among the Group’s own workforce [S1-4]

The Zumtobel Group launched a DE&I strategy in the 2024/25 financial year based on three strategic pillars:

Gender equality: The Zumtobel Group is committed to ensuring that all genders have equal opportunities when it comes to promotions and management positions. This includes actions to increase the percentage of women in management positions and the promotion of a sustainable female talent pipeline. Inclusive collaboration: The Zumtobel Group promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organisation to foster a positive and innovative work environment. This includes the improvement of cooperation between departments, divisions and regions. Age diversity: The Zumtobel Group recognises the value of an intergenerational workforce and promotes knowledge sharing between experienced professionals and younger talent. This helps ensure that all employees can develop to their full potential. The resulting initiatives are intended to ensure that employees feel valued, respected and emp- owered. The Zumtobel Group’s DE&I mission emphasises the importance of a fair, inclusive and collaborative work environment in which diversity of thought is seen as a key driver of excellence and performance. In the 2025/26 financial year, the DE&I strategy resulted in the introduction of following model actions • Enhancing the visibility of DE&I topics through the targeted expansion of key communication channels and campaign-based formats • Establishment of the ‘Female Role Models’ communication format to specifically promote the visibility of female role models • Introduction of reverse mentoring to promote intergenerational learning and structured knowledge sharing • Further expansion of the DE&I training programme, including a management programme designed to integrate DE&I-related skills in everyday working life in the long term An educational video was also produced in the 2025/26 financial year to raise Group-wide awareness of this topic (DE&I), which is permanently available to the entire workforce on the internal communications network. The Zumtobel Group plans to take the following additional model actions for the 2026/27 financial year: • Standardisation of the communication format employees on parental leave in order to keep these employees better informed and more closely involved • Expansion of the DE&I dialogue series, with a view to regularly facilitating discussion on a range of topics within the field and promoting knowledge • Communication and implementation of a Balanced Project Staffing Guideline to facilitate a diverse and inclusive team composition and to address the different needs of all groups of people.
