The seamless integration of components, hardware, firmware and soft- ware forms the basis for high-performance, IoT-compatible lighting solutions.
The European core markets and profitable applications represent our main focal points. In the indoor segment, they include industry, office & education, retail, healthcare, and art & culture. In the outdoor area, we concen- trate on lighting for urban areas and streets as well as architectural and sports lighting. This focus also includes a reduction of our activities in less attractive markets and segments.

With Tridonic, Thorn and Zumtobel, we co- ver all major parts of the value chain – from components to connected lighting solutions. Every brand has a clear, independent profile and complements the others.
The continuous optimisation of product and process quality as well as cost structures along the entire value chain creates a secure foundation for reliable deliveries, customer proximity and sustainable production – supported by our own plants and a strong international supplier network. Our AI stra- tegy includes the targeted use of artificial intelligence throughout the value chain – from sales and service to administrative processes and production. The application areas include, among others, AI-supported sales forecasts, intelligent service chatbots, automated document processing and visual quality controls in production.
SMART SOLUTIONS AND SERVICES
We are continuously expanding our offe- ring of individual products up to integrated, data-based solutions and services. The new Smart Building Solutions Division bundles this expertise. With strategic partnerships (Siemens and ABB as well as Legrand since March 2026) and the Keyture software solution, we create complete smart space solutions and new customer experiences.
