Which external evidences & ratings distinguish us
With its 2026 rating, the Zumtobel Group ranks among the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide (99th percentile). Within the industry category “Manufacture of electric lamps and lighting equipment,” the Company also ranks among the top 1% of EcoVadis-rated companies. Driven by transparent communication and sustainability reporting, including reporting in accordance with the latest standards (ESRS, European Sustainability Reporting Standards), the Company further improved its performance across all areas assessed by EcoVadis. The Zumtobel Group achieved an overall score of 87 points. The Company does not view this recognition as a final destination but rather as motivation to continue its efforts. The Zumtobel Group remains committed to reducing emissions, designing sustainable and circular products, and being a Partner of Choice for its customers.
For the Zumtobel Group, sustainable enhan- cement of corporate value stands for holistic entrepreneurial action, which, among other things, also requires constant adaptation to the dynamic environment of the financial market.
ESG Linked Loan
In December 2021, the Zumtobel Group converted a syndicated loan agreement for EUR 125 million maturing in June 2023 into an ESG-linked loan, which is now linked to its sustainability strategy and performance. Financing costs take into account the achievement of targets in the EcoVadis sus- tainability rating and the reduction of CO 2 e emissions in Scope 3.
EcoVadis assessed sustainability performance 2026
For the past ten years, the Zumtobel Group has had its sustainability performance evaluated by the independent EcoVadis platform. In 2026, the Group was awarded a Platinum Medal for the first time.
