As a manufacturer of lighting equipment (NACE code C27.40), the Zumtobel Group operates in a sector with a high climate im- pact as defined by Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1288. Accordingly, all activities are included in the calculation of total energy consumption and net revenue. Please consult the Group Management Report line item ‘Revenue’ in the five-year overview (page 2) for more information on net revenue.
The prior-year calculation was based on different national energy sources.
Actual energy consumption of the vehicle fleet is systematically recorded and docu- mented. This takes into account both the quantities of fossil fuels consumed – speci- fically diesel and petrol – and the electrical energy charged into electric vehicles. Renewable energy consumed is generated entirely by local PV systems. The Zumtobel Group generated 2,465 MWh of renewa- ble energy in the 2025/26 financial year (2024/25: 1,409 MWh).
