The recycling content of packaging is based on current market data available at the European level. Cardboard accounts for the largest share of packaging material. The resource outflow metrics (durability, repai- rability, recycling content) are not externally validated outside the external audit.
The recycling content of products is as- sessed on the basis of the same end-of-life scenario used for preparing the EPDs. The assumptions and recycling pathways are based on the models and databases stored in the LCA software. The underlying metho- dology is based on the requirements of ISO 14044 and EN 15804.
