In order to enable the region’s arts and culture sector to flourish, the City of Clarence-Rockland wants to offer its support through a financial assistance program. Community organizations, ad hoc committees and artists' collectives interested in organizing an artistic or cultural activity are invited to visit the municipal website at www.clarence- rockland.com in the section Culture and Recreation to download the application form.
Le VC Gym et Bastien Physio de Bourget ont tenu un événement pour la communauté afin de faire connaître leurs entreprises et leurs services tout en récoltant de l’argent pour la Fondation du Club Optimiste pour les enfants malades. Jeux gonflables pour les enfants ainsi que des cours de Zumba, donnés gratuitement attendaient le public. Le VC Gym, Bastien Physio et le Centre de santé de l’Estrie avaient tous un kiosque d’information sur place, ainsi qu’Isagenix, les produits que Valérie Chartrand du VC Gymutilise dans son gym. Le RONA de Hammond a prêté un barbecue pour la journée. DJ Marty a également prêté son équipement pour la cause. C’était le premier événement de ce genre pour le VCGymet Bastien Physio, mais selon Valérie Chartrand, elle espère poursuivre la tradition chaque année, avec l’espoir que cet événement devienne de plus en plus grand chaque année.
