It’s been a strong The 2017 season continues to be one to remember for Pirtek Racing, with drivers Andrew Jordan and Jamie Caroline making their mark on track heading towards the sharp end of the campaign. With a tally of wins that is already well into double figures, the pair have once again showcased their skills in impressive fashion as the British Touring Car Championship – and it’s support series’ – continues to enthrall fans all around the UK. It didn’t take 2013 BTCC champion Andrew long to get to grips with his new steed having made the move to the championship winning West Surrey Racing outfit over the winter. A winner first time out at Brands Hatch, Andrew had then added more points to his tally at Donington Park before the BTCC headed for the high-speed Thruxton circuit in Hampshire for round three. A past master around the quickest track on the calendar, Andrew went into the weekend seeking to secure a big haul of points, but an unfortunate spin in the opening race would play a part in him being restricted to a best finish of 13th in the ultra-competitive field.
