If all went well, Russell Township has its new budget for the year as of this past Tuesday night. The Family Day long weekend meant that Russell Township council had its second regular session of the month on Tuesday evening instead of Monday, which was a statutory holiday. The evening agenda included final review and approval of the proposed 2019 muni- cipal budget, including a projected two per cent tax rate increase on the municipal levy portion. 5PXOTIJQ1VCMJD8PSLT%JSFDUPS+POB - than Bourgon anticipates a busy road works schedule with approval of the budget.

Snow removal crews for the United Counties of Prescott-Russell and local muni- cipalities worked through the night to keep ahead of the piling drifts of snow. “It tested our system,” said Marc Cler- NPOU 6$13QVCMJDXPSLTEJSFDUPSi8IBU helped us a lot was most of the snow fell during the night. Si tout allait bien, le conseil du canton de Russell a approuvé le budget 2019 de la municipalité lors de sa session du 19 février.
