père, Dominique devient partenaire de la Binerie Lalonde. Il a fait partie de la fusion des deux bineries en février 2000 et est maintenant un partenaire de la Binerie Plantagenet avec Alain Lapensée. Quant au festival, il a la lourde tâche de s’occuper des dizaines de bénévoles pour la fin de semaine. « C’est sûr que la fin de semaine du festival, je ne me repose pas. Mais de voir ma communauté et les familles faire la fête ensemble, ça en vaut le coût! » a-t-il dit avec un sourire au visage. Alain est le principal responsable des commanditaires. Cette année, ce seront plus de 80 entreprises qui commanditeront les évènements. C’est grâce à cette contribution constante qu’Alain croit que chaque année le festival sera plus grandiose que l’année précédente. Avec l’aide de sa fille Chloé, la commu- nauté de Plantagenet et des environs auront droit à un festival bien organisé avec des têtes d’affiche talentueuses. Des gens de partout viennent au festival chaque année et les ventes de la binerie grimpent d’un coup suivant la fin de semaine du festival. C’est à croire que la folie de la bine est contagieuse.
