INDIVIDUAL EXCELLENCE EARNS APEGA MEMBER GOLDEN RECOGNITION FROM ENGINEERS CANADA Engineers Canada annually recognizes professional engineers from across the country for their engineering excellence and outstanding contributions to their profession, their community, and the safety and well- being of Canadians. This year, among the recipients is APEGA member Catherine Karakatsanis, P.Eng., FEC, FCAE , who received the organization’s gold medal. Selection of the gold medal is based on individual achievement and distinction in engineering. Five other professional engineers, one student, and one project, from or licensed in other Canadian jurisdictions, also received Engineers Canada awards.
