STAFF SPOTLIGHT Kennneth Biala, PT, DPT, ATC

Kenneth Biala has worked as a sports-medicine physical therapist in the Chicagoland area for 15 years. Kenneth’s passion for physical therapy began while working with children with various neuromuscular disorders including muscular dystrophy. He furthered his education in musculoskeletal injuries by completing the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana Athletic Training program in 1999. Division I sports teams he worked with there included football, tennis, swimming, and wheelchair sports. He went on to complete his Masters of Sciencedegree inphysicaltherapyatWashingtonUniversity inSt.Louis in2001.Additionally, he completed his doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2014 with his goal in becoming an expert inunderstandingmovement–related injuries.Hecurrentlyspecializes inworkingwith orthopedic injuriesandpost-surgicalrehabilitationandhehasstudiedandworkedextensively with running and walking injuries. Besides spending every moment he can with his 3 young children and wife he loves coming to work as a physical therapist every day!
