Bonus points if the restau- rant delivers! • Spa day: new moms don’t get much time to themselves, so encourage her to carve out a moment for herself with a gift certificate to a local spa for a mas- sage, facial or manicure and pedicure. 4. Try using furoshiki. Wrapping presents in patterned fabric, or furoshiki, is a Ja- panese practice that offers an estheti- cally pleasing and eco-friendly alterna- tive to wrapping paper.
