and an evolving membership demographic. ANCC’s traditions are important. I reject the false choice between maintaining our military heritage and improving the quality of the club. We have always found ways to build a quality and rewarding club experience while preserving our unique culture. I also hope to improve civility, decorum, and esprit de corps among club membership. I have noticed a disturbing trend or disrespect and indifference in the club towards fellow members and— most disturbingly-club staff. We should hold ourselves to high standards and strive to meet them.
