What I did: I worked with the other interns to assist with planning events and other programs, interact with and host guest speakers, maintain the database of upcoming events, update student attendance records of events, and suggest ideas for new events and programs. What I liked: I have really loved everything about this internship, but I especially enjoyed working with Lunch with a Leader, providing students the opportunity to meet with successful business leaders for a one-on-one lunch. I also enjoyed hosting our Corporate Partner Connection events, and planning the April professional growth conference with Ignite. Future Dream Job: I have always been drawn to event planning, so I would love to open my own event venue someday.
