GREGG CHAMBERLAIN gregg.chamberlain@eap.on.ca Falcons and Wildcats rule the courts led “some pretty numbers” in the Cyclones’ game results so he expects a good challenge. The RocklandWildcats finish their BDivi- sion round of regular season games with a five-one win-loss record. Tina Ullett, co- coach with Ryan MacDonald for the Wild- cats, expects a good game on Wednesday, Feb. 17, when Rockland hosts the St.Thomas Aquinas Ravens for the opening semi-finals. “We’re very strong in shooting,” Ullett said, “and our defence is pretty good. We are a pretty young team, mostly Grade 11s, going up against Grade 12s on the other teams.”

Falcons’ Coach Scott Stoqua noted that the closing league game with the Ravens proved a “tough game” for the Falcons. “They (Ravens) have a big guy who plays good defence,” Stoqua said. “But our (court) press was pretty effective, and we were able to run on them for a bit.” The Falcons have not faced this season’s Cyclones yet in any of their regular league games.
