General Information

Semen Tested : All bulls are fertility tested by Dr. Gina Neu-Paulsen and passed a breeding soundness exam. Bulls sell with an individual semen test report. Bulls tested negative for BVD, along with given an Anthrax, autogenous Pinkeye shot, vaccinated and boostered for Footrot, and dewormed with Injectable Dectomax. Magnets : Bulls, bred heifers, and bred cows were given a magnet to prevent hardware. Retained Interest : Kopriva Angus is retaining a 1/3 revenue share interest in all bulls selling in the sale. All walking rights (full possession, natural use, and salvage value) belong to the buyer. If we choose to collect semen, it will be done at your convenience and at our expense. Ultrasound Carcass Data : Ultrasound carcass measurements were collected by Certified Ultrasound Technician, Loren Rozell, LCR Ultrasound Services, Warner, SD. The measurements are adjusted to 365 days of age. Defect Testing : All bulls and registered bred heifers selling have been determined defect free to known genetic defects by pedigree or by test. Trucking : Complementary delivery (100 miles) on bulls selling over $4,500. Complimentary delivery on 5 or more bulls averaging over $4,500 (up to 300 miles). We will cooperate on further deliveries. If you bring your trailer to the sale, a $40 cash rebate per bull will be given to you after sale settlement for the bulls you haul home on sale day. Liability : All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise for their safety or behavior of the animals. The Owners, Auctioneer, and Sale Staff assume no liability for property loss or any accidents that may occur. Our liability will never exceed the purchase price of your bull. Bulls become your responsibility the moment the bull is declared “sold”. Volume Discount : on bulls- 2% discount on the third bull purchased; 3% discount on fourth and additional bulls Boarding of bulls : We now have a better facility to take care of the bulls. We will board them free for 2 weeks after the sale after that we will charge $2/day, we cannot afford to stand the risk of lightning on a pen full of sold bulls therefore we will split the cost of mortality insurance purchased on sale day for the remainder of 2026. Announcements : All announcements from the block will take precedence over printed material in the catalog. Supper: Please come join us for supper before the sale at 5 p.m.

Sale Format : Live Video Auction- No cattle will walk thru the ring. Videos will play on TV’s during the sale. Sale Location : 16845 416th Ave, Raymond, SD. From Raymond 2 miles North, 2 miles East on 169th St, and ½ mile North on 416th Ave. Please use this meets and bounds method to find us, electronic devices consistently fail around here. Inspection of Cattle : Sale cattle will be available for inspection at the ranch. Cattle will be moved to sale location mid-day on sale day. Please call to arrange a time to view. The commercial heifers sell marked only with an ear tag backed up by the number on the RFID Bangs vaccination button. Health : We feel that it is essential to provide our customers with a source of bio secure seedstock. In doing so we maintain a Level II Johnes free status cowherd. Bull Vaccination Protocol : All bull calves received Inforce3, One Shot BVD, Ultrabac7/Somubac, and Injectable Dectomax at turnout time in May. In addition, they received a preweaning booster of Bovi-Shield Gold One Shot, Ultrabac7/Somubac, Injectable Valcor, and poured with Ivermectin in October. On December 22nd, 2025, they were given Bovi- Shield Gold FP 5, Spirovac VL5, Ultrabac7/Somubac, and poured with Inhibidor.
