… until the day you have moved in!
FIRST VISIT AND FINAL INSPECTION Before the entry date, we invite you to come and see your new home. You can also ask any questions you might have for us at Stena Fastigheter. At the same time, an independent inspector will review the results of the final inspection of your home with you. The final inspection is arranged between the tenant-owner’s association and Stena Fastigheter. The purpose of the inspection is to assure the quality of the construction work and to ensure that your home is approved when you move in.
FINALLY, TIME TO MOVE! Well before the entry date, you will receive information about any outstanding payments and how to move forward with them. On the entry day, the total sum, including the first monthly fee, should be paid. That is also when you get the keys!
AFTER MOVE-IN Stena Fastigheter assembles the first board of the tenant-owner’s association, an interim board. This board manages the interests of the association for up to a year after the final inspection of the property has been approved. You will be invited to an association meeting where the residents elect a new board, consisting of the members. After that, the new board will take over.
TWO YEARS LATER Two years after moving in, the inspector goes through any reported defects and determines how to take action, a so-called two-year inspection.
Does it seem complicated? Both our estate agents and your bank will help you along the way!
