Une journée superbe pour le Carnaval
La première édition du rallye demotoneige duCarnavalaconnuunvifsuccès.«Ilyavait entre 20 et 25motoneiges enregistrées», a indiqué le président des Loisirs de Sainte- Anne-de-Prescott, Réjean Paquette. Les motoneigistes devaient parcourir les pistes à la recherche d’indices. «Ce n’est pas une course, c’est pour le plaisir et les prix sont pour la participation», a rajouté l’organisatrice et conseillèremunicipale, Stéphanie Houle.
Frisotine s’est amusée avec les enfants lors du Carnaval de Sainte-Anne-de-Prescott, le 28 février dernier, au Centre d’Action.
La petite Lily Rose, 2 ans, est tombée en amour avec un ballon géant et l’a trimballé partout avec elle lors du Carnaval.

“We’ve worked with some great companies,” Pawlus said. “IKEA, Goodyear, Hershey’s, Kraft, and Proctor &Gamble are just some of the companies I have had the opportunity to work with.” Pawlus works with large companies assisting them in reducing overstock as well as excess equipment, or company closures. He buys and sells industrial equipment, helping in everything from appraisals to dismantling and delivery of large equipment. “I like what I do,” said Pawlus. “I’ve been doing this for such a long time. I really enjoy what I do.” Pawlus said it’s important to like what you do in life. “It’s good to keep busy doing something you like to do,” he explained. “I wouldn’t be very good at sitting around doing nothing. I don’t know how people do that.” Pawlus plans on keeping busy and working hard. “I don’t see myself slowing down any time soon.”
George Pawlus is old school. He said his generation was the last to use an inkwell in school. Pawlus likes to keep busy and work hard. He owns GAP Appraisers, Liquidators, and Auctioneers that has offices in Ontario and Quebec, and a warehouse inHawkesbury. GAP is amajor liquidation and auctioning company that does business throughout Canada, the U.S. and internationally. “I have over thirty years of expertise in liquidating surplus assets and asset management,” said Pawlus. “It’s what I do.” Pawlus recently assisted the plant closures of SGL Carbon in Lachute, and American Standard Brands in Cornwall. “I am always looking for new projects,” said Pawlus. “We also assist in asset management of surplus equipment.” With more than thirty years in the business, Pawlus knows what he is doing.
