Welcome

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Sentry School of Business and Economics, I welcome you to our 2026 Spring Awards Dinner. I am very excited to get together once again to celebrate and honor our outstanding students and faculty. Thank you to Associated Bank for its generous support of tonight’s festivities. Through your generosity we can celebrate in the presence of so many family members and friends. Thank you as well to our generous donors who make tonight’s awards possible. From your generosity we have been able to give away $125,050 to students tonight alone! Your gifts truly impact student lives. We are especially pleased to welcome members of the Business Advisory Council (BAC) and our Corporate Partners. The BAC guarantees the relevance of our programs by providing input from our business and community stakeholders while our Corporate Partners help our students connect with local businesses. We appreciate your help in all our efforts. Our strong business and community partnerships help Sentry School meet its mission of developing career-ready graduates through applied learning. The Anderson Classroom to Career Center is the core of that mission, with the Mundt Internship and Career Readiness, Smiley Professional Events, and Corporate Partner programs all focused on getting students out of the classroom and into the business world. At the graduate level the MBA program is committed to the same goal, transforming both young and seasoned professionals. Through these programs we continue to innovate, providing students with new opportunities to develop and showcase their skills. Finally, I would also like to thank UW-Stevens Point administration for their support, and our wonderful faculty and staff for their creativity, hard work and dedication to our students. Together we are turning UW-Stevens Point and Sentry School into a standout destination for business education. Enjoy the evening! Kevin Neuman, Ph.D. Head, Sentry School of Business and Economics

Trish started her accounting career at the UWSP Foundation and is currently the director of accounting for The QTI Group in Madison. KEVIN AND JORDAN ILE SCHOLARSHIP Kevin and Jordan Ile first met on campus at UW-Stevens Point as freshmen in 2015. Both Kevin and Jordan chose UW-Stevens Point as a result of program reputations, the central location of the university, and the on-campus culture. Spending six years in the Stevens Point area earning bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees at UWSP, Kevin and Jordan made a number of connections with other students and faculty members that they’ve held close as they relocated outside the area to follow career opportunities. Because of these meaningful connections and the impact UWSP has had on them personally and professionally, Kevin and Jordan were naturally encouraged to give back to students in need of additional financial support.
