UN INCENDIE DÉTRUIT LA GRANGE D’UNE FERME DE CHÈVRES

Les propriétaires d’une ferme caprine près de Grenville-sur-la-Rouge ont subi une perte importante en raison d’un incendie de grange. Le service d’incendie de Grenville-sur-la- Rouge a répondu à un appel à 4 h 47, le 25 février, concernant un incendie de grange à la Ferme Zorro, sur la deuxième concession. Les services d’incendie de Grenville et de Brownsburg-Chatham ont également envoyé des camions et des pompiers sur les lieux. Le chef des pompiers, Marc Montpetit, de Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, a confirmé que la grange avait été détruite. La Ferme Zorro a annoncé plus tard sur sa page Facebook qu’un troupeau entier de chèvres a été perdu dans l’incendie et que l’exploitation agricole a été fermée pour la durée de l’incendie. La cause de l’incendie n’est pas connue pour le moment. La Ferme Zorro était spécia- lisée dans l’élevage de chèvres nigérianes, qui ont les yeux bleus.
