DELIVERY Free delivery on bulls for the first 300 miles, All other deliveries at cost. There is a $50 per head rebate on bulls taken home within a week from the ranch. Any animals left for delivery will be delivered from the ranch to be delivered within a week of the sale date in accordance with the Seller or picked up by the Buyer in accordance with the Seller. Welcome to the 21th Annual Bowles J5 Reds Production Sale We do not have many bulls this year, only six head of very good bulls. They are a good cross section of our program and come from some of our very best cow families. They are attractive long and thick with good dispositions. We decided to cut more bulls because to be honest we averaged over $2550 per steer calf and were able to get ahead of the sticks financially. It’s nice to be able to pay off the place and find a way forward with less stress. We still have an elite set of mother cows that we know have the potential to raise top notch cattle moving forward. We apologize if we don’t have enough bulls to fit your needs this year. We have about 35 head out of 73 bulls born picked out for next year and they will be a very special group indeed. Not every bull calf born is good enough to be a bull for various reasons, with the price of steer calves its a good time to keep a tightened eye on quality, and make dang sure that the bulls you buy from us will be elite herd emprovers, with lots of style and thickness with ideal birth weights. 35 head of our replacement heifers are available to you in ideal condition and in great health. These are heifers out of cows from the heart of our program from various age groups. They will be sorted for size and family relations in groups of 5 head. They are a great representation of our program and we have confidence that they will work for you in yours. They are all straight red angus and sell as com- mercial Bangs vaccinated replacement heifers. They have all been DNA typed for sire and we have that information available to help you make your decisions. Premium is a stylish and thick made bull from the Shick program in Lodge Grass. He had a marbling scan of over 6% and a 17.5 inch ribeye, although his numbers do not show that kind of carcass it is built in. He bred his heifer group up well and they calved easily with nice sized calves, not too big or too small.

TERMS & CONDITIONS TERMS: The terms of sale are cash. All settlements will be made with the clerks of the sale immediately following the conclusion of the sale and before any cattle will be released. BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any diputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final. PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal will become the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Any animals left in the care of the seller after the sale shall be reasonably cared for and buyer will be advised of any health issues that should arise while in the seller’s care. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Changes of information contained in this catalog relating to animals offered for sale will be announced from the auction block and such announcements shall take precedence over printed material. REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES: A certificate of registry and transfer will be furnished on all registered cattle at the buyer’s request and after settlement has been made. Certificate will specify exact percentage of Red Angus blood as is applicable. Please be sure to inform the clerk at the time of settlement how you would like the papers transfered. IDENTIFICATION: Each registered animal carries a readable tattoo. BREEDING GUARANTEED: All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders and have passed a fertility and soundness exam. All heifers are guaranteed open. Any claims for refund of adjustment must be made in writing within six months of the sale. In the event a bull is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the bull to the ranch of the seller, if in good condition and complying with the health requirements of the seller’s state. The seller will be entitled to six months trial following the return of the animal, in which to prove that the bull is a breeder. The seller will be obligated to offer a suitable and comparable replacement, credit towards the purchase of another bull or refund of the purchase price less any salvage value received by buyer. Such replacement, credit or refund shall in any case be deemed full satisfaction and settlement. If the seller proves the bull to be a breeder, it shall be the obligation of the buyer to take delivery of the animal at the buyer’s expense. LIABILITY: Neither owners, sale managers, clerks nor anyone connected with the sale assumes responsibility, legal or otherwise for damage of any kind. RETAINED INTEREST: Seller reserves the right to keep a breeding interest in any bull so designated in the catalog or during the auction. In the event seller elects to collect semen from a designated bull, it will be done at the seller’s expense and during such time when puchaser is not using the bull for breeding.
IMPLIED WARRANTY: Except for those stated in the terms and conditions there are no warranties, either expressed of implied, as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose with the respect to the cattle being sold in this auc- tion. The warranties set forth in the terms and conditions are in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied and the remidies provided therein shall be the sole and exclusive remedy of the buyer or any party claiming through the buyer for any breach of warranty or guarantee therein provided and all other obligations or liabilities. CONTRACT: The above terms and conditions shall consti- tute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal sold.
