THE NEW

Refreshed Courses, a New Manual, and an Updated Exam Available Now

This year, BICSI launched a redesigned Registered Communications Project Management® (RTPM®) program, revised to reflect modifications in the ICT profession. Changes to the RTPM program consist of a new manual (the Telecommunications Project Management Reference Manual (TPMRM) 2nd Edition), three revamped courses, (PM101, PM102, PM103), and an updated exam. The program was updated and aligned with the Job Task Analysis (JTA), conducted by BICSI every 3-5 years to stay current with the latest trends and changes within the ICT industry. The primary focus of the revamped program is to cover information in all phases of the project lifecycle, specifically eight major areas where learners will build their skills and abilities, falling within the following subject areas:

PHASE I: PROJECT INITIATION Gather Specific Project Information Create Initial Project Budget Estimates (rough order of magnitude), Consideration of Location Orchestrate Project Proposal Project Deliverables A B C D PHASE II: PROJECT EXECUTION

The updates to the RTPM program are designed to help ensure that the manual, course, and exam content accurately reflect job-related activities and professional standards. If you are looking to start the journey to earning your RTPM credential, the time to do so is now!
