stage has taken Teddy all over the world, and he enjoys a stellar international career. Now based in Melbourne, he still travels for much of the year. “It’s an amazing lifestyle, incredibly exciting – and although now I’m older I sometimes think I need to slow down, I love my job. I’m always thankful to be asked to sing and always want to be open to new opportunities.” Teddy is grateful for all the support and encouragement he received from other musicians and performers when he was starting out and now enjoys being in a position to give back and mentor emerging talent. “The professional music world is relatively small and people go out of their way to help each other. It’s the friendships you make and guidance you receive that can have such a significant influence on your career. “The seeds that were planted while I was at school formed my life’s journey. It’s such an intense and inspiring time. “I still keep in touch with friends from College and I’m always amazed at what College alumni achieve.” Tosca was on at the Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch in March 2018.
