New paint, new carpet, new facilities, some reconfiguration – it has all been happening at Richards House during the summer months.
The substantial makeover and tidy up sees new paint throughout most of the House, new facilities in the common rooms, new showers on the first floor and a big refresh of the ground floor bathroom.
original prep room in Richards has been converted into new bedroom space. Improved facilities for the cleaners have been incorporated in the reconfiguration, and a new duty office has been installed following the conversion of the laundry/cleaners room by the ground floor entrance.
New curtains went up in the Term 1 break, completing a comprehensive refurbishment. In a rolling programme of improvement to boarding facilities, the next boarding House to receive attention will be School House.
