about this business of getting out the gospel in any and every way. Continuance . . . Be Satisfied “ Be thou faithful unto death” (Rev. 2:10). I was talking just the other day with a man who is head of a large business. He has come up the ranks the hard way, and now he is on top. By all standards, he is a suc cessful business man, respected and looked up to by others in his line. I asked him for the secret of his suc cess, because I felt that he might have something which could be applied to our business of making a success of the Christian life. I cannot forget his answer. He looked at me, and said very simply, “ By keeping everlastingly at it.” That’s a good point for us to re member as we come now to our last step, which can be called a summing up . . . continuance or, keeping ever lastingly at it. For if it be true in the business world, would it not be just as true . . . and more so . . . in our far more important business? Isn’t that what the Apostle Paul meant when he wrote, “ Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehend ed: but this one thing I do, forget ting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:13,- 14). Get those words of this Christian business man, reaching forth, and I press toward the mark. That’s the living testimony of an active, alert man, eager to make a shining suc cess of himself for Jesus’ sake . . . not the dreams of some arm-chair Christian! Continuance . .* . that’ s it.
